fun, fun place! The food is excellent. The service is fast and courteous, and the dancing is great, swing, waltz, chacha, rumba, foxtrot,,,,you can do it all here. For a fun evening, this is the place!
My review focuses on the Dancing Part. If you are into Ballroom dancing to Chinese Cantopop/Mandarin music, then this is the place. It's a great place to bust some moves around the dance floor, as it is big enough. Mostly an Asian clientele, but no worry, many non Asian patronize this place to practice their steps. The live band does play a big segment of disco dancing during the middle of the night for those that want to let it all hang out.
The Singing and Band music is professional and service is OK.
The food is pretty good too. Not terribly expensive and one of the few places in town where Ballroom Dancing is available under this type of venue.
I used to go there very often but the food quality goes downhill in the past year. Too much MSG in almost every dim sum I ordered. I tried to finish my food but could not force myself to have more than one bite. It was that gross, even my 5 year old dislike her normal flavorite food there. Will not go back again.
Went for an anniversary dinner with 10 courses. Very disappointed. Not only did they serve things that were not ordered. They did not provide the Lemon chicken, deep fried prawns, the spring rolls or beef with broccoli. Gave us deep fried tofu, fried noodles with squid and corn soup. Yuk. Said the items we wanted were on the take out menu. I'm not sure why that should make a difference if you are willing to pay to get what you want. Plus they were conducting a dance lesson. I think the people being instructed were hard of hearing because the dance instructor sure was shouting loudly. Not at all a place I would go to again.
